Meetings are held the 4th Tues of the month (Sept-June) @ Tolland Fire Training Center on 191 Merrow Rd (Route 195), just 1/2 mile south of Rte. 84 off Exit 68, Tolland. We start our business meeting promptly at 7 PM.

A few meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday, but are not confirmed. Please email Jean Carver above if there are any questions.

Guests are welcome. We hope to see you in Tolland. We do serve snacks, but bring your own beverage.

Our community service project for this year will be quilts for the Hole-In-The-Wall Gang Camp. We will also be having a monthly Strip Swap, exchanging 2½" strips in a themed color scheme.

* October meeting will involve a Bag Share & Show. Members will bring in any bags or totes they have made along with the pattern information – name, where purchased, etc. Photos will be taken of the bags and will be compiled into a “Bunches of Bags” book for each member along with the pattern information. The books will be distributed at a future meeting. It’s a great way to remember all those cute bags our members bring in for show and tell.

* November will be our exciting Live Auction. Members are asked to bring in two new auction items, either handmade or purchased. It’s a fun and crazy night and guests are always encouraged to attend.

* Mid November will also be Tolland’s first “No Frills Retreat” at Cape Cod. Members are already looking forward to getting away for a long weekend of sewing.
