Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday
of the month at the First Congregational
Church of Vernon, 695 Hartford Tpke (Rte 30), Vernon at 7pm. Guests
and new members are always welcome.
We had a great year in 2010–11,
full of beautiful quilts, lots of friendship, and sharing of
our talents through NICU quilts, childrens’ quilts and
pillowcases, and presenting classes and techniques at our
Saturday sew-ins.
Our new program
year starts with the following:

Sept 13 -
Ice cream social and
introduction of 2011–12 programs, challenges, and projects,
plus Show & Tell of summer projects.

Oct 11 - Jo Hansling, a
Connecticut quilter, will give us a presentation on Civil
War Quilts.
Our Saturday
sew-ins/workshops, held at the Church from 9 am – 4 pm, are
September 24, October 15, and November 19, where you just
might learn to add an eraser and a wedge ruler to your
arsenal of quilting tools.
