Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday each month unless otherwise noted at First Congregational Church, 695 Hartford Tpke (rte 30), Vernon at 7pm. Guests and new members welcome.

We had a great year in 2009/2010, full of beautiful quilts and wonderful friendship.

* In May, VNQ participated in a Quilt Show produced by the Vernon Congregational Church where we meet. This was a fundraiser for them and our charity project for this year. Many of the quilts were submitted by church members and included some beautiful antique quilts. VNQ members submitted quilts and assisted with the show. There was a delicious lunch served and some raffle baskets.  It was a lovely day and we hope some of the GHQG members were able to attend..

Fall 2010 schedule:
* September 14th - Ice cream social and introduction of 2010-2011 programs, challenges, and projects, plus Show & Tell of summer projects.

* October 12th - Speaker/trunk show.

* November 9th - Speaker/demo.

* December 14th - 6:30 Pot Luck, Members quilt show, Brown Bag swap.

* January 11th - 3-corner demos.

Workshops include a bag, little picture quilt frame, and NICU quilts.
