2012 GHQG Scholarship

The 2010 GHQG Scholarship was awarded to Jarica Golino at the Steering Committee meeting in June. Jarica's mother, member Jean Blain of Ellington Country Quilters, accepted the award on her behalf and showed a few of Jarica's lovely quiltes. Jarica is attending nursing school and she received a $500 scholarship to be used for purchasing textbooks and supplies.

*Remember, members...the quilt show is the source of our scholarship's funds. The Scholarship committee is chaired by
Amanda Gabehart.

2012 Scholarship Fund

The Greater Hartford Quilt Guild will award a $1000 scholarship at its June meeting.  While the Guild anticipates awarding one scholarship winner, it reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to award the $1,000.00 among multiple recipients, or to not award the scholarship at all.
