There are two types of Membership in GHQG - Independent & Chapter

Independent Membership

An Independent membership of Greater Hartford Quilt Guild gives you access to all the events and programs sponsored by the GHQG
Enter quilts into our biennial quilts shows
Participate in Guild Challenges, Service Projects, Events and Activities
- Annual Gathering - A Fall event to kick off the year
- Sharing Day - A Spring event with each chapter showing their accomplishments
- Spring Lecture - A notable expert quilter gives a lecture
- Virtual Lecture - A mid-Winter on-line event with an expert quilter
- Summer Picnic - A fun relaxing time at a park with members and their families
- Retreats when available - Usually offered in May and December

Chapter Membership

Benefits include everything listed under Independent Membership
Chapters have speakers and learning activities that provide educational opportunities
Monthly meetings with a chance to socialize with other chapter members
Chapter members feedback and advice
Group lectures, workshops and sessions of particular interest to the chapter
Group challenges and contests

How To Join A Chapter

Each Chapter has their own membership registration form and dues vary by chapter. You may visit a chapter as a guest and obtain a membership application. The Chapters' pages have the date/time and location of their meetings.
You can use the email addresses listed on the Chapter's page to ask about the chapter's dues and application process.
