About Us | Greater Hartford Quilt Guild
Who We Are |
The Greater Hartford Quilt Guild is made up of local chapters (groups who meet monthly), and independent members. We are traditional quilters, modern quilters, art quilters; beginners, experienced and in between. A common love of quilting is the thread that binds us together.
Our chapter meetings and Guild programs provide a place to share the passion for quilting; share our knowledge of new and traditional techniques; and share our resources with each other and with our communities to make our quilting world a better place. |
Our History |
The Greater Hartford Quilt Guild began in 1980, with a small group of women sharing a common interest in quilting. It has grown into a not-for-profit organization with hundreds of members, most of whom participate in local chapters which meet monthly, in towns throughout Connecticut. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in quilting
