2025 Summer Picnic
2025 Quilt Show
The biannual GHQG Quilt Show took place on June 7 and 8, 2025 at Cheney Technical School in Manchester, CT. There were 275 quilts with several chapter challenges and a very popular youth section. Congratulations to the Quilt Show Committee led by Donna Killoran and Judy Van Blarcom for a very successful show. The first three pictures are the Viewer's Choice winners. The winner is Pat Beaudoin from Newington Schoolhouse Quilters for her hand embroidered quilt "Woodland Whimsey". It is a masterpiece!
First Runner-up Viewer's Choice Award went to Nancy Ouimette of Apple Valley Quilters, with her quilt, "My Life in Living Color".
and Second runner-up was Susan Deshensky, GHQG Independent Member with her quilt "A Great Big Ferris Wheel".
