Wickham Day Quilters of East Hartford

This is our newest Chapter. It was formed in the Fall 2023 to satisfy some members' needs to have a chapter that meetings during the day time hours. More information will be posted here as they continue to form their program schedule.

When: Meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm
Where: At the Wickham Library at 656 Burnside Avenue, East Hartford, CT 06108.
What: Social time begins at 1:00 pm.
Who: Guest and new members are always welcome.

October - Demonstration of Bookmark and Pen Holder by Annette Caneschi
November - Adi Sutherland trunk show and raffle quilt presentation
December - Make and take design board with holiday social
January - Prep for sharing day
February - lecture by Vicki Close, "Quilting your Quilt"
March - Four corners, members teaching members
April - Color lecture by Laura Dhandapani
May - Design board demo - Colleen Sheridan. Elections
June - Ice cream social; Show and Tell; What I learned from making this quilt or any quilt you would like to show.
